I like to throw my needles out pretty far, and it doesn't struggle at all with pulling ink from the cartridge at all, which I've experienced with other machines that have a shorter stroke. Plus every line I threw with it on its very first use just came put clean everytime. I'd highly recommend this machine to anyone.
